If you don’t soak all of the supplies you use to raise your tadpoles, they could die. This is because the chemicals from the containers leak into the water and can be dangerous to the tadpoles.
Soaking is easy and simple, all you need to do is fill the containers with rain or pond water. Let this water sit for around three days. Then dump the water out, do NOT use this water for raising tadpoles because it has all of the chemicals from the container in it.
